Getting Started with Hack Club

Welcome! If you’re brand new to Hack Club, this is the right place. Here’s how to get plugged in.

Step 1: Join the Slack

The Hack Club Slack is where most of the community hangs out. It has over 50,000 members and hundreds of channels for every interest.

1. Go to hackclub.com/slack
2. Sign up with your school email
3. Introduce yourself in #introduce-yourself

Step 2: Find or Start a Club

Check if there’s already a Clubs|club at your school. If not, you can Starting a Club|start one — it’s free and Hack Club will support you.

Step 3: Build Something

The best way to learn is by building. Check out:

• workshops.hackclub.com — guided projects
• Sprig — make a game and get a free console
• Blot — build a drawing machine

Step 4: Share What You Build

Every Hack Clubber is encouraged to Ship their work. Post it to Scrapbook, our daily update feed.
